Direct Drop-In Replacement
The VTB Beast Motor is designed as a direct replacement for the Surron Ultra Bee motor, making it an ideal choice for high-performance builds and upgrades.
With a maximum torque output of 68 Nm and a maximum stable rotor speed of 9,500 RPM, the Beast is built to deliver strong acceleration and high-speed motor performance.
48 kW Peak Power
Paired with the VTB V9600 Controller, the Beast Motor can deliver up to 48 kW of peak power.
Its operating voltage range of 48–100 V and maximum phase current of 1,100 A provide the electrical capability required for an extreme-performance setup.
Advanced Encoder Technology
The VTB Beast uses an ABZ + PWM encoder with 1,024 pulses and a 240 Hz output frequency.
Compared with traditional Hall sensors, an encoder provides more detailed rotor-position feedback, helping deliver improved throttle response, smoother control and more precise motor management.
This is particularly beneficial for riders who demand precise control during aggressive riding, technical terrain and wheelie-focused setups.
IP67 Waterproof Motor Design
The Beast Motor features an IP67-rated design, providing a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
VTB has developed a circular Nylon M12 connector using an in-mold decoration (IMD) technique to improve connector protection and compatibility with the V9600 controller.
The motor can also be supplied with an 8-pin square sensor connector when purchased separately for greater controller compatibility. However, the circular connector configuration provides the preferred waterproofing solution when used with compatible VTB components.
High-Performance IPM Rotor
The VTB Beast uses an Internal Permanent Magnet (IPM) rotor, a motor architecture widely used in high-performance electric vehicles.
The IPM design helps increase power density while maintaining high efficiency, making it well suited to demanding electric motorcycle applications.
The motor features a 0.5 mm rotor air gap, designed to support strong torque output.

40CrMoTi high-strength steel alloy shaft provides increased strength and durability.

The stator windings use VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) technology to provide insulation and protection to the windings.
Intelligent Temperature Protection
