The VTB Beast Motor is engineered to deliver a major performance upgrade for lightweight electric motorcycles. When paired with the VTB V9600 controller and a high-output battery, the Beast Motor can transform a lightweight emoto into a 28 kW high-performance machine.

Thermal Protection
The Beast Motor incorporates built-in temperature protection to help safeguard the motor under extreme riding conditions:
- 130°C: Power limiting begins
- 150°C: Power cut-off
Advanced Encoder Feedback
The VTB Beast uses an ABZ + PWM encoder with 1,024 pulses and a 240 Hz output frequency. Compared with traditional Hall sensors, the encoder provides faster and more precise rotor-position feedback, improving throttle response, torque control, and overall riding precision.
This is particularly beneficial for aggressive riding, technical terrain, wheelies, and situations where rapid changes in traction and motor speed require immediate and accurate control.
Premium Motor Construction
IPM Rotor
The Beast features an Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) rotor, a motor architecture widely used in high-performance electric vehicles. The IPM design increases power density while supporting high-speed operation and efficient torque production.
High-Strength Shaft
The motor uses a 40CrMoTi high-strength steel alloy shaft, engineered to withstand the high torque and shock loads associated with high-performance emoto riding.
High-Performance Bearings
Premium sealed bearings provide excellent durability, smooth operation, and improved resistance to shock and contamination.
High-Magnetic-Force Laminations
The stator uses high-performance magnetic laminations designed to reduce eddy-current losses and improve overall motor efficiency.
VPI Stator Windings
The stator windings are manufactured using VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) technology. This process improves insulation, protects the windings, and helps the motor withstand the demanding thermal and mechanical conditions of high-power operation.
Waterproofing & Connectors
The VTB Beast features a waterproof IP67-rated construction for improved protection against water and dust.
The motor is equipped with:
- Nylon M12 circular connector for connection to the VTB V9600 controller
- 8-pin square sensor connector for users who prefer a more universal setup
- Phase wire terminal: SC35-6
- Temperature sensor: 10k NTC thermistor
Circular Encoder Connector
The VTB Beast’s circular connector is manufactured using IMD (In-Mold Decoration) technology, providing a robust, integrated connection designed for use with other VTB products while maintaining the motor’s IP67 waterproofing.
A square-style connector option is also available for customers purchasing the motor separately or using a different controller. While this option provides greater compatibility, it offers less protection against water ingress than the circular connector. Because the PVC wiring does not provide complete coverage, water may potentially find a pathway into the motor under wet conditions.
Encoder vs. Hall Sensors
Electric motors commonly use either Hall sensors or encoders for rotor-position feedback.
Hall sensors are widely used because of their compatibility and simplicity. However, their speed and position feedback is less precise than an encoder, which can affect throttle response and torque control during rapid changes in vehicle speed or traction.
An encoder provides significantly more precise rotor-position information. This allows the controller to react more quickly and accurately to changes in motor speed, throttle input, and wheel traction.
For riders who demand maximum control — particularly those who perform wheelies, ride aggressively, or require precise throttle modulation — the encoder provides a premium level of feedback and control.
That’s why the VTB Beast uses an encoder as its primary sensing system.
